PEFIPRESA continues to add success… From a multidisciplinary perspective, based on experience and knowledge, with a solid base of teamwork and with a common vision, multiplying the results. PEFIPRESA has carried out the execution of the main installations of the new fire protection systems, both in active and passive protection from the modern and spectacular Plaza Rio 2 Shopping Center.
More than 40,000 commercial square meters, an investment of close to 200 million euros, 160 points of sale and the largest restaurant terrace in the capital with more than 3,000 square meters and on the edge of the apple orchard, are some of the most outstanding characteristics in multiple media, which makes it a resounding success. From PEFIPRESA, we are sure that it will become a benchmark for leisure and restaurants in the capital.
Throughout 2 intense and exciting years and working hand in hand with the promoter, PEFIPRESA is once again a participant in great success in such a project.
In this project, PEFIPRESA has carried out the main facilities of the shopping center, including its premises and garage. As for the solutions carried out, it stands out in Passive Protection; sectorization systems using hidden mobile elements (of the vertical and horizontal type in large dimensions), solutions of the type lining ducts and sealing installation passages. As for Active Protection, they stand out; automatic extinguishing systems by means of sprinklers, automatic extinguishing systems by gaseous agents, fire detection and alarm systems, fire pressure group, manual extinguishing systems by means of BIES/extinguishers and pressurization systems in evacuation routes. Finally, being the most innovative, a performance solution in the garage through an impulse ventilation system for smoke and heat caused by fire, supported by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) computer software and all this, confirmed by real simulated fire tests, in the presence of the main authorities and official bodies of Madrid.
